Ingredients:
- Corriander Seeds
- 1 Cup
- Pepper Corns - 1/3 Cup
- Toor Dal
- 1/3 Cup
- Channa Dal
- 1/3 Cup
- Fenugreek (Methi) Seeds
- 1 1/2 tbsps
- Black Mustard Seeds
- 1 1/2 tbsps
- Dry Red Chillies
- 1 2/3 cups
- Keep a non-stick pan on the stove and add the above ingredients, according to the above order in 30 secs interval. Dry roast them in a simmer flame for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- No need for them to turn brown. Wait until it releases a pleasant aroma.
- Then grind them in a blender to a coarse powder.
- Store them in a air-tight container. It stays fresh for 2 months.
- Sambar
- Puliothare
- Spinach or Green's rice
- Simply saute'd rice
- Vegetable gravy.
